What can I do with these magnets?
Rare earth magnets are the most powerful types available. You can do amazing scientific experiments or create mind boggling magic tricks with these magnets. Alternatively, you can use them for reed switches and attaching metal objects to surfaces or walls for convenience. This kit does not require any assembly or power.

What can I learn with this magnet?
Make everyday objects float using a piece of string and see the attrition of the magnet overcome gravity. Use for amazing patterns using ferrofluids, a type of liquid that reacts in fantastic ways to magnets. See how long a chain you can make of magnetic objects before it stops attracting new pieces. Magnets field are all around us and they can be used to help you find you way with a compass or lock a door with an electromagnet – see what you can make with a mega magnet.

How do I look after my magnets?
The mega magnets come with a laser cut magnet holder to store them on. Make sure you wipe any debris or liquid off the magnets and try not to let them crash together as they may chip. Be sure to keep the magnets away from credit cards, electronic equipment and anything that can be damaged by a magnetic field.
