Product overview

• Two pack of motors with holders and a battery box
• Great for hobby, modelling, experiment, and education use
• Operating voltage between 1.5V and 3V (MM12) or 3V and 6V (MM28)
• Rotations per minute of up to 14,700 (MM28)and 11,500 (MM12)
• Creates torque up to 26.5gf.cm (MM28) and 10.9gf.cm (MM12)
• Kit contains two different motors with individual holders and a single battery box with a switch

What can I use the motors for?

Whether you need a high or low powered motor this kit has you covered with two motors one 1.5-3V and the other 3-6V. Both motors come with their own holder for attaching them to a flat surface. A battery box for two AA batteries is also included in the kit to act as your power supply (AA batteries not included Order Code L43AL). These motors are great for hobbies modelling applications and demonstrating the difference that torque and rpms can make on a system.

What are the specifications for the motors?

The MM28 battery operates on 3-6V with rotary speeds that can reach up to 14700 rotations per minute and torque up to 26.5gf.cm. With its compact size just 24.2mm in diameter and 32.5mm (45mm including the 2mm shaft) long and powerful rpms this is a great addition to any project.
The MM12 motor is even smaller at 21mm in diameter and 28mm (38mm including the shaft) long. The 1.5-3V motor can achieve up to 11,500 rotations per minute and 10.9 gf.cm of torque. With its 2mm shaft the same as MM28 the two motors can be easily interchanged for experiments or to show the difference they can make to a system. Both motor can be run in either direction by reversing the input polarity.

This kit contains
1 x MM28 motor
1 x MM28 motor holder
1 x MM12 motor
1 x MM12 motor holder
1 x Battery box with switch
1 x Plastic strap

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I needed. The motors were just right for my Grandson to complete the boat he was making.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Motors A bit dissappointed as there are two motors but only one battery pack! Otherwise it's ok.

Can you vary the speed of these motors? I want to build a 'table-top' hovercraft. The speed is very high and I would also like to vary the motor speed for control purposes. It a later version I want to use a radio link to control speed and direction.
