Rated 5 out of 5 by from Heater for hobbies garage I bought this last night and immediately felt the benefits an old heater had bit the dust so replacing I wanted something that was small and yet up to the job. The garage is used for a modelling hobby and this is very cold and has a lot of drafts This fan assisted heater spreads warmth quickly and efficiently I'd recommend it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great when newly bought... but one month on and it being considerable colder, it doesn't heat enough. Even though I set it on 26 degrees or higher, the average room temperature doesn't go over 21 degrees which is not warm enough for me. Hot air comes out straight from the heater (have to sit right next to it to get the benefit) but strangely at the same time cold air from the edges. Might try a replacement but am not too confident it will be much different.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Little Heater! Bought this to bring my rooms temp up quick and it works great, being partially cold blooded in a country without underfloor heating can be pretty rough during the colder days without something like this to warm things up.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Efficient ceramic heating unit with safety feature This 1800W mini digital ceramic heater is used to heat a loft room and it does exactly what it says on the box. It has a built-in adjustable thermostatic temperature function as well as a timer to either set a delay for the unit to function off to on mode or whilst unit is on, a timer delay to turn it off. If required the heater can part rotate on its stand about a vertical axis via the touch sensitive multi function panel display. Crucially, there is a tip over safety cut off feature in the event of the unit being accidentally knocked down as well as an over heating prevention switch. The remarkable efficient performance capability of this deceptively sized ceramic heater justifies a review rating on this occasion.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It keeps cutting off and not working. The heater stays on a desired warm temp for a only a certain time then switches itself to cold air. It also decides to work for a few minutes and then cuts off completely and will not work unless rested for 24hrs.

What is the maximum and minimum temperature settings? How low can it be set to? Also is there a Frost setting for unit to come on if temperature reaches 5 degrees or less?

Asked by: Darin
I bought one today, the answer is as follows: Temperature range is 10•C to 35•C No specific Frost Protection, but 10•C is quite reasonable to keep temperature from going too cold. Nice compact unit with cool fan and oscillating feature.

Can it be used with an external timer switch?

Asked by: Willie
I have tried to use this with an external timer switch, only to find that it will only go into standby mode and not produce heat or fan. Disappointed with that.

Are there any more detailed operating instructions available? I find them quite confusing. At 23 degrees it has switched itself off and I don't believe the room is that hot. How long does it take to come on again? (about 10 minutes now)

Asked by: bep70
If using thermostatic control the unit will not begin to reheat until the temperature falls below the threshold you have set. Eg if you set 23º the heater will heat up to that point and then stop, if the temperature then falls below 23º it should start up again.
