How is this item fixed ? Would one need access to the rear of it to mount ? I need to fix the switch into a blind hole with no access to rear.

Asked by: Keith57
These would be mounted by nut, so you would need to have access to the rear of the mounting hole to secure.

I want to a switch to connect one or other of two 12V batteries to a single load. Can this switch be used as a change over switch (ON-ON) and if so is it make-then-break so that 12V would always be applied to the load even during switching?

Asked by: Zulu
You would need a DPDT on - off - off switch for this purpose.

Will this swtich 3.75amp @48v AC/DC?

Asked by: stuart
This will be fine for your intended purpose. The maximum voltage is 240V and the maximum amperage is 6A, as long as you don't exceed either of those you will be fine.

What is the maximum rated continuous current at 6VDC? Actually switching current is very low as its use is for switching battery between charging socket and turning on supply to R/C model electronics with zero current to motor at time of switching.

Asked by: Ian1
The switch is rated with a maximum current of 10A, sorry we cannot comment on individual usage.
