Product overview

• Converts MMC and SD cards to Type II CF card size
• Allows you to put smaller MMC and SD cards into an Type II CF slot like those on digital SLR cameras
• Fully compatible with any MMC and SD memory cards

What do I need this adapter for?
This card adapter converts your MMC or SD cards into a larger Type II CF card. This allows you to use these cards with anything that accepts Type II CF cards, making your MMC or SD cards compatible with digital SLR cameras.

Is it easy to use?
This adapter is simple and easy to use. You slot your MMC or SD cards into the adapter and then you have a fully sized Type II CF card ready to use for items that accept that size.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too big, only CF Type II size. WARNING this card won't fit all camera. There are two specifications of CF card type I and type II. Type II is 5mm thick and type I is 3mm thick. Type II was originally develped to allow more memory on a card but recent developments in memory technology have made it redundant. Almost all CF cards are now type I because they will fit in in both type I and type II slots. Many (most?) modern cameras now ONLY have type I slots. This card is type II (although it doesn't say so in the description) and thus will not fit cameras such as the Canon 5DMkII and other popular cameras. If you are thinking of buying the card please check to see if your camera can take type II cf cards. If it can't the card is useless to you.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Type II adapter Make sure to acknowledge that this is not a regular CF card most commonly found in cameras and most CF card readers. It is a Type II CF card which is thicker than a more common Type I CF card used in modern Cameras including my 5D MKI. Some cameras and readers may have a wide enough slot to accommodate the Type II CF card in that case it should work fine. However If you have a common slot type then only Type I CF cards will fit and this product is useless to you. Note: Type I CF cards can fit inside and Type II CF card slot. Do Not be fooled by the description and make sure to check if you have a Type II Cf card slot before purchasing this intended for Cameras because in my case it is rare to find a Camera that has this slot!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cf to Sd Adapter Great simple adapter worked great with my multi media reader which I use in my night club for visuals. Would recommend if using CF cards a lot... it will save you bending pins in the CF card readers! Thanks

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Mixed quality Purchased 2 of these are different times, first one had a click in and out mechanism and was a good quality card, second one was much inferior, card just slides in, its lasted about 3 weeks of use and now does not work.
