About this product

Product overview

• A switch box providing an easy method connecting a TV and up to three separate sources such as DVD, cable TV, Sky satellite, VCR etc.• Ideal if your TV is short of SCART sockets• Comprehensive switching options allow you to watch one source and record another• Composite, RGB and S-video compatible

Any of the sources can be selected by front panel push buttons. In addition, a recorder connected to input A can record from either input B or C. This versatile switcher also features phono socket outputs for stereo audio and video. The unit is housed in a sturdy steel black case.Dimensions: 145(w)x130(d)x45(h)mm.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Picked it up in the local store and was pleasantly surprised to find a good sturdy black metal box, the buttons are easy to access and although there is very little written instructions it is very easy to use, four sockets, one for the display device and three for your equipment. The buttons are marked A B and C for viewing so its quite obvious which are what. One thing to bear in mind is there is a RGB button, depending on how you have your DVD setup you might need to turn this one on. Although I cant verify the recording, you can record from B or C by connecting your recording device to socket A and then selecting the combo button for your desired recording source. On the whole Im very impressed with the price and the construction.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very sturdy box. Its functioning is possibly mind numbinglky obvious to most people but I would have appreciated an instruction sheet saying what the switches do and how they can be used in combination.
