• Change the temperature from your mobile, tablet or laptop
• True Radiant learns how your home warms up so you only as much heat as you actually need
• The Nest Thermostat is compatible with an average 95% of heating systems

What can the thermostat do?
The Nest Learning Thermostat is a programmer and thermostat in one. It learns your schedule to programme itself, notices when you’ve left home and automatically turns down the heat, and can be controlled from your mobile. That means you can be on your way home and set the heating to come on so the house will be just as you like it when you get in. You’ll see how much heat you use every day and get an energy report every month to track and manage your energy use. The thermostat even learns how long your home takes to heat up so you only use as much heat as you actually need.

What is True Radiant?
True Radiant will make your radiant system run like it always should have - according to your schedule. No more guessing and turning the heat on hours earlier than you need it. Tell your Nest Thermostat what temperature you want and True Radiant will take care of the rest. This setting is automatically on.

How do I install the thermostat?
It is recommended that you visit and use the website to search for Nest certified installation engineers. The site will give you a list of all local engineers and their contact information.

What advantage do I have of buying the extra Nest items?
All the Nest items are interlinkable with each other. This means you can keep you home safer and even more secure. Link the Nest Protect with the Nest Thermostat so when the alarm detects the CO levels rising it automatically shuts off the heating to keep you safe. Link up with the Nest Cam and when the alarm detects smoke it the camera starts to record so you can go back and see what happened.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product! Bought this a while ago and I am impressed with the build, the interface and how easy it is to use. Managed to install it myself which was easier than anticipated. It learned when my family was home and away and created a schedule for us. All in all a great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing & worth every penny Already paid for it's self after a few months. Super easy to use and learns when to put the heating into away mode. Pair this with Google Now on an Android device and it'll see you coming home and start to pre-heat your house.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Revolutionary heating control I bought this about 3-4 months ago. It was a little tricky to install for me but my brother in law understood how to wire it in. Very rarely have I touched the heating control since. I programmed a schedule for the week that suited our lives and it does the rest. Learns your likes and preferences and adapts to suit. Really great that when you are away from home it uses geocaching for your phone to know your away and go into away mode automatically. The thermostat can see you passing and will light up to show you whats going on. I love the fact that it links to the internet and will ascertain the weather stats for your area and know that it will take a little longer or less time to heat the house based on outside temp. I would say this device will have paid for itself by about October. Would I recommend this product?? 100% its brilliant

I notice in the installation guide a mounting plate is and this plate has wiring for like a wall thermostat. Can the Nest operate like a wireless thermostat, where there is a receiver installed next to the boiler and the Nest wirelessly talks to it?

Asked by: Terry
That is exactly what this unit does. ''What’s the Nest Heat Link? You’ll see the Nest Heat Link in the box with the Nest Thermostat. They work with your boiler to control the temperature of your home. The Heat Link connects to your boiler wirelessly or with existing thermostat wires. Then it communicates with the Nest Thermostat to turn on and off, or modulate the heat.''

hi how does this link to the phone? does this work on a 5.0ghz router?

Asked by: bexy66
It links via your home broadband, most 5ghz routers would also output 2.4ghz which is what this uses.
