Provides easy integration of Ethernet (10 Mbps) and Fast Ethernet (100 Mbps) devices. This switch features five ports. All the ports provide automatic speed and duplex sensing. Auto Uplink adjusts for straight-through or crossover cables and makes the right connection. Once you connect the hardware, your switch is operating. Auto Negotiation takes care of the speed and duplex, while Auto Uplink eliminates the need for toggle switches or special crossover cables. Engineered without the need for internal fans, it operates silently.

Hello does this need power? does it automatically sense each port, going to different devices, like tv>youview>dvd>android. what port is connected to router.

Yes this would need power, it does support DHCP port 5 would go to the router.

What connection is in the back of this switch to give the input signal?....is it ok to plug an ethernet cable from an existing network into it to allow more computers access to the internet through one existing port? Thanks Steve

Hi, My D-link router has only one ethernet port, I need to connect to my computer and also my Voip phone base station. Will this do the job? should I just get a simple "splitter". Sorry for my computer ignorance !! please just point me at a product that will turn one port connection into two and work with voip !!
