A fixed gain plug-in signal amplifier for use with analogue and digital TV signals when fed from a suitable aerial. The amplifier can also be used to link a satellite receiver to a TV and/or a video recorder. This unit is housed in an attractively styled box fitted with a mains lead for plugging directly into a 13A socket. Unlike most on the market this amplifier has a digital bypass built-in. If you are using a Sky remote control extender such as our PT73Q, regular amplifiers prevent them from working.

Why does it have 2 inputs? What would the other input be used for?

This is so the item can be connected to aerials if needed.

can this be fitted in the loft and fed to other rooms and used by up to 8 TVs  simultaneously?

Asked by: marcus
Where it is fitted is up to yourself, there is no reason why it cannot go in the loft. And yes, it can be used for up to 8 TV's at the same time.
