A range of plug-in signal amplifiers for use with TV, FM and Digital (DAB) Radios, when fed from a suitable aerial. The amplifiers can also be used to link a satellite receiver to a TV and/or a video recorder. These units are housed in an attractively styled box fitted with a mains lead for plugging directly into a 13A socket. Unlike most on the market these amplifiers have a digital bypass built-in. If you are using a Sky remote control extender such as our PT73Q, regular amplifiers prevent them from working.Make sure that everyone in your household can watch TV from the comfort of their own space. This complete kit will transmit digital TV to another room in your house easily and without any fuss and any mess. You also get the benefit of a higher frequency of 5.8GHz to stop interference from other items such as cordless phones and wireless networks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Job done I was battling with a lack of TV reception from a Loft Aerial in a house we had just moved into. The existing installation had what turned out to be a faulty booster, so I replaced it with this and we were sorted. I've also since added a DAB aerial in the loft, which plugs into this unit as well, which then feeds down to the lounge on one coax cable. Please note, as of 09/10/17 the description of this product on the website is wrong, and provides incorrect information. "This complete kit will transmit digital TV to another room in your house easily and without any fuss and any mess. You also get the benefit of a higher frequency of 5.8GHz to stop interference from other items such as cordless phones and wireless networks." THIS IS INCORRECT! This is simply an aerial booster/splitter.

Is an aerial amplifier the same as an aerial booster? I have a booster connected to the TVs aerial in the lounge but still get bad weather interference.

Asked by: Wildebeeste
A booster / amplifier is primarily the same, if your signal is adversely affected by weather then this is likely to be an external cabling problem.
