A range of plug-in signal amplifiers for use with TV, FM and Digital (DAB) Radios, when fed from a suitable aerial. The amplifiers can also be used to link a satellite receiver to a TV and/or a video recorder. These units are housed in an attractively styled box fitted with a mains lead for plugging directly into a 13A socket. Unlike most on the market these amplifiers have a digital bypass built-in. If you are using a Sky remote control extender such as our PT73Q, regular amplifiers prevent them from working.Make sure that everyone in your household can watch TV from the comfort of their own space. This complete kit will transmit digital TV to another room in your house easily and without any fuss and any mess. You also get the benefit of a higher frequency of 5.8GHz to stop interference from other items such as cordless phones and wireless networks.

The signal from my Sky box to attic is excellent (checked up there with TV) when I connect to 5 bedrooms via booster box all pictures are far too fuzzed, despite retuning. Please can you advise me. Thank you.

Hi I have the nikkai HQ Areal amp with digital bypass and it's showing a red light on short circuit protection what could cause this thanks

Asked by: Tim54
It means there is a short circuit. Either the cable bringing the signal to the device has a fault or one of the distribution feeds has a fault. Remove the cables one at a time to find out which one is causing the short, then make sure none of the outer braids from the shielding are touching the inner core.

Purchased this model in March 2013. Running 4 tvs from it. For no apparent reason BBC1 and 2 HD and digital  have stopped being transmitted. There are no transmitter faults in the area. Could it be the aerial amplifier? Advice please

Asked by: Ken1
Hi. If you are still receiving other TV channels ok, then it is very unlikely to be the aerial amplifier at fault. Try retuning the TV/receiver. After the recent thunder storms I also had some problems. If not ANY TV channels then maybe the aerial amp fuse or unit has gone. Bypass amp (join aerial feed to one output cable) and see if that output gets TV ok. If it does, then amp likely at fault.
