Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great results. I live in Cambridge and put this aerial in the loft for Freeview reception. Used with a signal booster (One 4 All, 20dB boost), I'm now getting excellent Freeview reception on all TVs. Not sure how robust this aerial would be erected outside, as the elements seem a bit thin (perhaps they're all like this nowadays) but it should last for years in the loft. Very happy with it overall.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I bought this to install in the loft, as no roof aerial on new house. I have it mounted on an old cycle workstand and it feeds 4 TV's via a commtel distrubition/booster box, the signal received on all 4 is perfect. I am very pleased with the project. I went for this as I understood a large high gain aerial would be neccessary to allow for signal attenuation caused by the building fabric as its in a loft. A very good buy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The 71 Element Digital Aerial has been installed and is giving excellect reception in what is regarded as a poor reception area. However viewing has been during a period of high pressure. I await low cloudbase or rainy weather to be a true test. The ease of ordering and prompt delivery was a credit to Maplin

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bought the same model in 2009 and took to home in Finland, works well with digital TV even there in a low reception area. However last year it was only 25quid.

Hi. I know a bit about aerials, and other high-gain aerials. I question the validity of the Db gain figure on this product listing. Aerials of similar design with 71 elements are quoted as having a gain of 17-18 Db. Would you check this with the please?

Asked by: Ravie
I can confirm the information we have on web is correct.
