At present I have a sky disk and box to recieve tv pictures. I am getting a hd tv with a freesat reciever built in. Can I fit the HD twin LNB to my old sky dish with the adaptor and then run the coax directly to my new hd tv to recive hd channels. also will the new hd lnb still work with my old sky box. Is there an issue with power output from both recievers powering up the LNB. as I do not want to short out anything in the new TV which is under guarantee. thanks tony inglis

Hi There I have a Sky HD Sat dish and a Sky HD Box, I have now added a Humax Freeview Box. What Do I need to have both connected to the Sky Sat Dish so that I can use both my Sky Box & my Humax Box by choosing which HDMI Channel to use. (eg) Sky Box on HDMI 1 Humax Box on HDMI 2.

I have one sky dish with 1 LNB. I have two receivers. I'm looking for a switch that takes 2 sky cables IN, and switches to EITHER OUT1A and OUT1B (Receiver 1) OR OUT2A and OUT2B (receiver 2). The LNB will connect to only one receiver at a time. Advice pls

Asked by: John
I understand you have two cables from the LNB and only use one receiver at a time. What about using two 2-way splitters with power pass on both outputs? When one receiver is turned off, the other one will control the LNB. (One LNB cable is split to OUT1A and OUT2A..)
