What makes this lighting solution different?
Light up your system like never before with this Hue+ lighting kit. It has two channels to give you two separate lighting schemes within the same case, with each channel capable of supporting up to 40 LEDs. Since there are 10 LEDs in each strip, you can have up to four LED strips on one channel (four strips are provided). This will provide you with unprecedented PC illumination possibilities.

What can I do with the CAM software?
In order to use the Hue+ you’ll need the CAM software, which will need to be downloaded and installed. There are four different modes that you can use to customise the lighting effect that is emitted. One mode is ‘pre-set’ with eight options available for you to choose from, while ‘customise’ lets you change each LED. The two remaining modes are reactive, and change based on your system. ‘Smart’ changes the LEDs based on the condition of your PC – CPU temperature, GPU temperature or FPS. On the other hand, ‘audio’ mode will have the Hue+ react to the audio output of your PC and beats in time with your system’s sounds.

Is it easy to set up?
Setting up the Hue+ is simple and, with the daisy-chain design that is part of the LED strips, there will be a wide range of ways you can route your LEDs. Magnets are built into the strips so you can quickly lay them onto any magnetic surface. Alternatively, you can use the double-sided tape underneath the strips to fix them onto a non-magnetic surface

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome piece of kit The NZXT Hue+ is an awesome piece of kit. If you want a professional look to your PC case with the added ability of selecting colour and mode from a desktop application then this is the product for you. The Hue+ comes with 4 strips of RGB LEDs. Each strip contains magnets and a sticky back allowing them to be positioned on the case before you stick them to the case. The Hue+ supports two channels giving you the option of having different settings per channel. Each channel supports up to 4 HUE LED strips. Additional LED strips are also available. Personally I found this product excellent value for money due to the amount of LEDs included and the features provided by the Hue+ device.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The must have LED strips for computers. The best light unit that you can get for computers. The software has a lot of features to customise how you want the led strips. I personally like mine to change in a cycle but i always change them as you can do more the you can think. The lights are bright and give off a good viewing experience with a decent side window case. I'm using the Define S from fractal design which is a great case by the way. I would recommend anyone who is wanting LED lights for computers with ease.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Highly configurable, but not perfect Installation of the lights is either simple or a monumental pain depending on your case; the cables provided to join the strips together are stiff and the connectors are bulky and don't lock in place, so bending round sharp corners in confined spaces can be tricky - I have a mid-sized tower and struggled to position the lights whilst still being able to close the case, and had to resort to taping a couple of cables in place to stop them fouling other components and/or disconnecting themselves. Once installed, though, things get better. The software is a little unintuitive and a little more flexibility would be nice, but it gets the job done, and in no time at all you'll be hypnotising yourself with swirling patterns.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Window on your case? You need this This is amazing. I bought it for my pc which is in the Corsair 760t v2 and WOW! My case matches my keyboard (K65 RGB) in lighting awesomeness. It ca cycle through colours, breathe, and change colour depending on CPU/GPU temperatures and frame rates as well as sync to the music playing. And the strips are magnetic.

How is it all controlled? How can you change the colour of the LEDs? can I buy a LED controller to add on like the one maplin sells? or is it through software, would quite like it to be a hand remote.

Asked by: sned12
It's all software controlled. Once installed you can customers everything from colour to effects.
