How does the switch function function?! Is it that it is off in fully clockwise, and switches on to highest resistance going through to zero ohm at fully clockwise, or is it a latching push switch on and off, with the pot being able to stay at a set point

Asked by: Bannedbiker
The title states clearly that there's a switch.  The pot is a normal 1k variable track, the switch is normally closed except when the shaft is rotated fully anti-clockwise.  It's a double-pole switch.  It's doubtful that it's push-on push-off unless it clearly states that style.  They're not the default format.
