We have a BT 2+8 system which needs to be replaced. We have 2 incoming lines & need 4 extensions. All cabling is currently hard wired from the system to individual sockets for the extensions. Can we hard wire or adapt into this system?

I have just browse the user manual for this... it doesn't mention about placing a call out. Do you know if there is a prefix for making an external call required? (Such as the infamous "Dial 9 for an outside line").

You just lift the extension and you get a line. The talc direct website gives a better manual.

can you get cordless phones to use with this system?

The device is designed to work with phones that connect utilising industry standard RJ11 connectors, it has no cordless capability in itself. However you could connect a cordless receiver/handset combination to any of the extension outlets if you wished.

my incoming 2 lines are ISDN....will this system operate with this? (I currently have a BT Versatility unit which has failed)

Hi_ how do you get an answerphone system to work with this? Are you able to use the current extension phone's internal answerphone system or do you have to separately plug in an answerphone system? thanks.

This guide doesn't have particularly helpful information for leaving messages (like voice mails), I think you believe I was talking about answerphone in terms of auto attendant. However, having now installed the system you can use the answer phone message system if there is an internal one on the phones then you can use this.

hi - if i purchase this product will i be able to set up call information options for my customers ie - press 1 for this information? - (once the customer has pressed 1 a pre recorded message is given with the intended information, and so, how many ?
