How easy is this drone to fly?
The Bebop drone is one of the easiest drones on the market to fly. Using the downloadable FreeFlight 3 app it is fully controllable up to 300m in the air, and you can record to the internal memory and onto a microSD card if you require more space. If you lose sight of your drone, you can press the return to home button and the drone will return to the starting position.

How does the return to home function work?
When you press the return to home button on the app, your drone will fly back to the starting position using GPS, at a minimum height of 10m. It will continue to hover at 2m until you land it. This function is perfect if you have lost sight of the drone and wish to retrieve it.

What sort of performance will I see out of this drone?
This drone has a maximum speed of 13m/s which is the equivalent of 29mph. The two 1200mAh LiPo batteries give you a maximum flight time of 22 minutes and will ensure you have enough time to have fun and get some great action shots.

Safe flying is your responsibility
We fully encourage safe and responsible flying. We recommend you read the CAA’s/IAA’s website and The Drone Code for full information on safe and responsible flying.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing endurance Had a Bebop1 and sky controller as Xmas gift 2015. Throughout 2016 the experience has been disappointing for 2 reasons. Firstly, the camera that is promoted as HD only really returns good photos course invery bright conditions and secondly, the battery life is very poor. What is the point of a 2km range for the controller when the bebop would not be able to make it back ? Realistically 5 minutes is the maximum time airborne....sometimes in cooler weather duration is much less, maybe 2 or 3 minutes. Now I see there is a bebop2 claiming much better performance, but this has made my bebop worthless. How about a trade in system?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect drone for Beginners!!! Love this thing! My first one got hacked or something and flew away(I recommend setting up a wifi password). Needless to say I was devastated seeing I only had it a few weeks. Called customer support and after filling out all the conditions of the flight they reviewed it and sent me another. Top notch customer service! The only thing is the new battery that came with it just blinks red and won't charge. Also another of my batteries started doing the same thing. Oh well. I would still recommend parrot to anyone looking to get into the hobby. Absolutely impressed and I will continue to buy parrot products!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great drone I love it. I got this for Xmas and I really enjoy it. First I only used my phone to control it but I lost signal a couple times and crashed. The drone is very durable because it didn't break. When I purchased the sky controller it was very different. The control and range I had now was excellent. The camera is very good for pictures and video. The only problem I had is that the propellers were attached incorrect. There is one with an opening on it and this one goes on the engine with the rod at the top. I also put a cool wrap on it. Also there should be a light on it when flying in the dark. Thanks David

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It's a toy I bought the bebop with the sky controller when they first came out. I ended up sending the first one back because it was horrible at holding altitude during forward flight. The replacement, well it flew just like the first did. I have constant disconnects at little distance and as have logged well under five hours of flight time since I bought the Bebop because of it horrible flight characteristics. I took it out again last week and found that all four of the batteries while charged, don't hold a charge for more than 2 minutes of flight time. I've been building and flying drones for years and have never had such an ill behaved flying machine. I would not recommend a Bebop to a friend.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Maybe ok a first drone, otherwise disappointing The good: It can give acceptable video for up to 5 minutes of flight time, giving you a glimpse of what can be done with a video drone, and with some practice short video clips can look quite good. I have used my bebop for a total of 11 hours, over 200 flights. The bad: My Bebop was replaced 3 times, because the others flew out of control, it still drifts around, sometimes up to 5 meters left and right . The Camera varies from good to unwatchable, I assume from vibration. The Battery is lucky to last 5 minutes, I have had two batteries completely stop working (one came like that) and they go un replaced. If I move the stick even near full tilt it basically shakes until it falls out of the sky.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unreliable I have two Bebop drones and neither of them work. These are my second and third Bebops. I use them for work, I sell ranches in Texas. The first one was great until a bird hit it and it crashed. The second never held its altitude and crashed and one of the engines no longer works. The third won't record video and randomly requires updates during use. Two weeks ago I drove 3 hours to one of my listings to take photos and videos, my client was there and my drone flew 6 trips without recording anything, but the ipad app told me it was recording. After driving 3 hours back home I discovered it recorded nothing. It embarrassed me in front of my client and needless to say I have started to look for other drones.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great flying camera I bought it more than one year ago and I am still impressed by its flight stability and ease of use. Picture quality is not great anymore by today standards but the video is more than usable. Its video stanility is impressive for that size of aircraft. It is still the best wifi video quadcopter arround. Its range without range extender / phone only is broad enought to make a selphy or drone zoomout video. And my favourite featurite feature of them all is the size of it. A quick turn of the props and it fits in any backpack or purse. No bulky remotes or cases. Handy little thing

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extremely fun ! I received this a month ago as a gift and it was a surprise because I have been looking into drones a lot and didn't expect it but it's honestly really fun to use and the because of this drone I have been going out more to multiple hiking trails and beaches and took some exquisite pictures the picture cameras are great! Only issue is battery charging but that's a minor thing to the positives! I recommend it if your a beginner it's easy to control.

I know there is a return to home button if you loose sight of the drone, but my question is this, Does this drone have the function of "return to home" automatically when the battery goes low. Like the DJI has?

Asked by: thompy
I am sorry but the item in question does not support use in your intended application.
