Is this product compatible with a Gigabyte X58A UD5 motherboard, running Win 7 x64? I already have one similar adaptor installed and working fine, will the Maplin adaptor also work?

Asked by: Colin
The official web page for your motherboard shows it has 1 x PCI slot http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3450#ov so physically the card would fit. Unfortunately the card does not state compatibility for operating systems above windows XP, so we cannot guarantee it would work in a Windows 7 (64 bit) environment. Given the price of the item (£1.80) there is little to lose by ordering one to see if it works.

Will this work with a Vodafone 3G/GPRS Data card. In any Vodafone destination.
Asked by: B Shoulder
This shouldn't have any problems with that, as it only adapts the PCI slot to PCMCIA, it does not limit the PCMCIA Cards that can be used with it.
