What is an LCR meter?
An LCR meter is a type of electronic test equipment used to measure the inductance (L), capacitance (C), and resistance (R) of an electronic component. To do this, the meter subjects the device under test to an AC voltage source and measures the voltage across, and the current through the device.

What makes this different from the LCR40?
This meter comes with an added impedance testing function for testing impedance of devices such as speakers, microphones, larger wires and more.

How easy is this analyser to use?
The LCR45 is very easy to use - the component type is automatically detected for you, so you just have to connect it and press the test button. The test frequency is then automatically selected to provide the best measurement resolution.
