What do I get from this portable projector?
Weighing in at 351g, this PicoPix PPX 4935 pocket projector is perfect for anyone travelling on the road. The compact design means it can easily be stored in a bag or briefcase. An internal speaker gives you audio playback, and an all-in-one system with an audio port offers further sound options. What’s more, you can present in numerous ways with this projector. Either use a traditional wire from your laptop, plug in a USB/SD card, or wirelessly stream from your phone/tablet via Miracast. This makes the PPX 4935 an ideal companion for anyone looking to present at multiple destinations on the go.

What is the picture quality like?
The DLP SmartEngine LED technology gives a contrast ratio of 100,000:1, which gives you a sharp bright image. An aspect ratio of 16:9 and native WXGA (1280 x 720) resolution gives you a widescreen picture. In addition, the PicoPix PPX 4935 outputs 350 lumens of light, which makes the picture projected viewable even in moderately darkened rooms. The eco-friendly LED light source has a 30,000 hour lifespan, and helps to keep maintenance and bulb replacement costs to a minimum.

Can I connect my laptop or computer to this projector?
As well as being able to connect a laptop or computer to the projector via a HDMI cable, you can wirelessly connect a laptop or an Android device through Miracast. By connecting an external hard drive or USB flash drive to the PicoPix PPX 4935, you remove the need to carry a video cable around for presentation use. The wireless connection allows you to stream presentations, documents and view the web directly from your phone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow! Big picture, tiny projector I've had this product for a few months now and every time I get it out people are amazed that such a big, bright image comes from my pocket-sized projector. I can save images and videos on the internal memory and if my friends have stuff to show they just pass me a USB stick or mini SD card. I just switch on and throw my pictures on to the nearest wall. Other than that I can connect anything via HDMI using the cable supplied which is great for the portable DVD player or games console.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from remote lets it down, very cheap feeling the remote is really cheap feeling,a wireless keyboard with touch pad would be a great optional extra, some codec playing issues, although you can download other player apps which can help the chances of it playing, nice bright image, but i'm getting a dark shadow slightly on the bottom left corner, not really an issue for movies, but can be seen on home screen etc, also when turning up the volume, when turning above 70% needing to hit OK to be allowed to go louder, with that poxy little remote is annoying, (I keep it Mounted on the roof you see,and sometimes its easier to just use the touch pad to navigate, rather than the remote, so its kind of annoying having to stand up and use the touch pad on the roof)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Philips PicoPix PPX4935 Brilliant piece of kit! Originally brought it for work, but increasingly using it for films and with built in WiFi it can stream online content which is really handy. The 3W speaker is more than adequate, although you have the added bonus of Bluetooth allowing connectivity with enabled sound bars and the like.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Convenience & Quality Assured By far the best portable projector I have ever used. It has many inbuilt features that potentially eliminates the requirement of laptops unlike normal projectors during meetings, lectures or classes. Highly recommended for those that value convenience without sacrificing reliability.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn't play m4v videos through the HDMI The projector is great in many ways but for me it fails in one very important way, it is incapable of playing the sound on movies in the m4v format, even via an HDMI lead from a third party media player or computer. I often watch movies in this format since it's one of the main copy protected streaming standards and was one of the reasons I bought the projector.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have used this projector for gaming and movies. In my lounge it projected well onto a wall and I also used it camping, projecting a film onto a tent. The kids loved it. It is simple to use. Well worth the money.

I don't understand the statement "hold presentations even in a darkened room" . Is that what you really mean?

Asked by: soother
This means that this projector can be used in rooms that are not completely pitch black, this can be used even with small levels of ambient light.

can the bulb be replaced once life has gone on it if so what are the costs to replace the bulb

Asked by: craig003646
The specification says that the LED lamp life is 30,000 hours. Compare that with a non-led projector lamp! -I don't think you need worry.

Hi What lead do I need to buy to comet this projector to my Samsung phone note 4 I want a wired connection Thanks

Asked by: Ish1
The following adapter would allow you to plug the cable included with this projector into your phone. You would need a USB power supply such as the one which came with your phone, and a micro USB 2.0 cable to power the adapter.
