What level of performance can I expect from this SSD?
With a sizeable capacity of 240GB, you will have plenty of room for running your operating system as well as storing your music, photos and videos on your PC. The 240GB memory capacity will give you enough storage for approximately 45 hours of high definition video or more than 130,000 photos - so you'll never have to worry about running out of space. As the drive comes with no moving parts, it performs actions a lot faster than a mechanical hard drive. With a read speed of 540 MB/s and a write speed of 520MB/s, the data transfer speed is increased nearly four times making this a great replacement for your current drive.

How efficient is the SSD?
With no moving parts, this SSD consumes less power and produces less heat than a mechanical HDD. A cooler running drive allows you to comfortably use a laptop on your lap without the noise of the fan cancelling out the sound from your speakers. This lightens the load on your PC’s power supply and cooling system and lengthens your battery life.

What other benefits does using an SSD have?
The failure rate of SSDs is less than that of a mechanical hard drive, by up to 33 per cent. The SSD drive has no moving parts and instead uses flash memory to store data, which provides better performance and reliability over an HDD. This gives you a peace of mind that you are at low risk of losing any important data.

can you add another picture showing the connectors unsure if it had two sata connectors one for mother board and coming from pus or not

Hi - I've unboxed mine. Yes, they come with standard SATA connectors but no cables. They don't come with conversion kits for fitting into 3.5" bays either, but that will not be an issue if you're installing the drive into a laptop or a desktop case with 2.5" slots. Form factor is identical to all other 2.5" disks I've come across, and they're very light (weighing not much more than a pen drive).

I have purchased two S10TLC240GB drives intending to use them in RAID 0; the motherboard has Intel hardware RAID. Do they come with any toolbox utilities, firmware updates, or anything else I need to be aware of?

Asked by: TimS
Les - This isn't a question about Windows drivers it's about the firmware. Many manufacturers use Phison chips in their SSDs AND they've provided performance/diagnostic utilities to optimize the SSD. For example, ZOTAC provide a downloadable image and a toolbox for the ZOTAC 240GB Premium Edition SSD (Same chips as your SSDs), and there was talk of a firmware upgrade over a year ago (http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/phison-s10-firmware-update,news-51661.html).
