Can I plug male end into aux in on hi fi and then plug red and white rca cable into other end to connect a bluetooth adaptor?

Asked by: Betty67
As long as the connection you are plugging this into is a phono socket not an aux socket it can be plugged in.

I wanted to use this so that I could attach two sound sources to one sound system - just to save me the trouble of switching plugs all the time - but as soon as I attach the 2nd source the sound from the 1st source disappears.

Hi, would this be suitable to use if i brought 2 of these as splitter's for sound going into my surround amp. One set of audio phono's from laptop, and the other from my sky+ box? Obviously only one will be on at any one time. Thanks.
