Rated 4 out of 5 by from great little chip, pity about Maplin's diagram The chip is very easy to use, as long as the diode isn't overloaded. I had to look up the pin-outs on another web site though to see how to wire it up.

Dual Opto-isolator.  It is not clear from the pinout diagram whether the collectors or the emitters are connected to pins 8 and 6. Is this compatible with the D223?   If not do you have one that is?
