Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor transmit range I bought this set of three Energenie sockets plus a second remote control a week ago. They are easy to set up and use, but the remotes have a very poor range. For instance I cannot turn on the modem located in an upstairs room from downstairs, unless I am stood directly underneath it, or am in the same room. Compare this to my previous set of Maplin unbranded remote sockets (grey rubber keys on the remote) which I could control from any location in the house.

Will three complete sets in three different rooms run independently or will button 1 in one room for instance activate remote 1 in all three rooms?
