What is the DJC-WeCAi?

The WeCAi is a DJ controller cable for connecting an iPad with DDJ-ERGO and DDJ-WeGO (1st gen) controllers. It allows both the ability to use the iPad device as a music source and control surface allowing aspiring DJs to maximise their performance.

How does the DJC-WeCAi work with my iPad?

The WeCAi utilises your Apple camera adapter, allowing your supported controller to be connected with either 30 Pin or Lightning versions of iPads. This gives you the ability to use the controllers MIDI output to transform and enhance MIDI compatible DJ apps. The physical controls offered by the WeGO/ERGO give you instinctive and intuitive control, whilst allowing you to access your iTunes library for either music or video mixing.

The design of the WeCAi does not hinder the iPad's battery, allowing you to power your controller with a separate USB power source. This allows you to keep the audience and party going longer, with a portable USB power bank this can make a non-stop party experience.

Is this product compatible with a laptop and can you use it with Spotify ?

Asked by: Ella
This is just an adapter cable to allow for connection into an Apple phone or tablet when combined with their camera adapter cable. It wouldn't be compatible with a laptop and isn't specifically designed to run with Spotify, so we couldn't guarantee full compatibility.
