Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice little bit of kit. Bought this as I was upgrading from HDD to SSD on my MacBook pro. Originally bought it as it was the cheapest 2.5 enclosure and did not intend on using it thereafter, but it turned out to be a great bit of kit. Nice materials and good quality with a dense USB cable that looks pretty durable. Will be putting my old HDD in this for portable storage in an enclosure that won't look out of place. 'Clicked and collected' with no issues whatsoever. Definitely recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Everything you need! I bought this along with a SanDisk 400GB SSD and it is all you need! The SSD was cloned with the enclosure and kit included and my old HDD is now nicely sealed in the supplied case and in use as external storage. Great kit!

I have an old SSD out of a MacBook Pro 15" Retina, model number MZ-DPC512A/0A2, would this fit in the casing, if not do you have an alternative product for this type of SSD? Many thanks Martyn

Asked by: Martyn
This fits most standard 2.5 inch drives. The MZ-DPC512A/0A2 seems to be an M.SATA drive which would not fit.

Will I not need to reinstall my windows instead of cloning?

Asked by: Andy
Yes, you would need to install windows to the new drive, the clone will then port all your data over.
