The Polaroid Snap brings back the magic and excitement of instant prints immortalised by the classic Polaroid, while offering all the convenience of a modern digital camera.
With this camera, you can take pictures in one of three colour modes - normal, black and white, or vintage sepia tone. You can also use ‘photo booth’ mode, which will take six quick pictures within 10 seconds. With the built-in Polaroid printer and Zink (Zero-Ink) technology, you can instantly have a two by three-inch print, with or without the classic Polaroid border, in under a minute.
With a pop-up optical viewfinder - which powers the camera on and off - and large easy-to-use buttons, this camera is compact and simple to use. Featuring indicators for low battery, low paper and low memory, you can ensure that you are always prepared for happy snapping. Whether you want up-to-date technology or nostalgia, the Polaroid Snap will tick all the boxes.
How is the camera powered?
The Polaroid snap features a built-in, rechargeable lithium-ion battery. The 500mAh battery recharges in only an hour-and-a-half, and will take and print 40 to 50 pictures before it needs charging again. It recharges via the provided micro USB cable, and has a built-in low battery indicator, so you will never be caught out.
What is Zink technology?
Zink, or zero-ink, technology uses Zink paper, which has an advanced composite material embedded with dye crystal and features a protective polymer overcoat. The dye crystals are initially colourless, but when they are heated they activate cyan, magenta and yellow to colour the image. This provides you with a full colour image on a two by three-inch, long lasting, smudge-proof sheet. The Zink paper has adhesive backing which allows you to get creative with your prints, and the camera will hold up to ten sheets of paper at one time.
