Product overview

• Irons and sterilises garments and fabric
• Compact design, makes an ideal travel or business companion
• Generous 200 ml water tank
• 45 seconds to heat up and up to 12 minutes of steam from one fill
• Water gauge
• Auto cut-off when tank is empty

The compact and portable design makes this perfect for home use, travel & business trips. The steamer irons and sterilises clothes removing wrinkles, dust and unpleasant smells. The steamer has an auto cut-off when the tank is empty making the steamer incredibly safe to use. A water gauge on the side lets you see exactly how much water is left in the tank. A generous 1.7 m cord adds to the flexibility of the steamer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Portable Garment Steamer works really well (as long as you don't overfill the reservoir) comes with a couple of brushes to comb the suit while it is steaming... , it is lightweight .. and will definitely be coming with me on my next business trip....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quest garment steamer I work part time in a charity shop and use an industrial steamer to prepare the clothes for sale,as a man I am not too keen on ironing but enjoy steaming in the shop.Just by chance I went into Maplins for a blokey look at the gadgets on offer, then I saw the Quest hand held steamer, worth a punt I thought, not expecting too much I took it home and did the wifes ironing in no time at all,the steam output is almost as good as the shop steamer plus no drips. At 800 watts its kind on the leccy bill too.Irons are so yesterday compared to this device,we had a steam generator iron a few years ago ,a big bulky power hungry thing that cost best part of £80,the Quest £25.I just hope its reliable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Much more versatile than an iron I bought this yesterday and so far I'm very impressed. It's perfect for delicate materials and dresses that are too awkward to iron. I tried it out on a new dress that was very wrinkled from being shipped and the results are brilliant! Only downfalls are the tank is very small so have to keep refilling (but heats up very quickly so not a big deal) and it easily overflows so be careful first time using it! Definitely recommended if you hate ironing.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Meh Well for 25 quid it's ok, just meh, I'd spend the money again on a proper steamer but it gets you out of a hole. The on off switch is good, but there is no flow control which is very annoying, heats up quick but spits and cord is painfully short

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointing Not what I was expecting it didn't steam the clothes it saturated them

How long does the charge last once the steamer has bee removed from the base?

Asked by: Katy
It doesn't unplug from a base. The steamer unit is mains powered and must be plugged into a standard UK 3 pin mains socket to remain operational.
