Product overview

• Two fixed frequencies of 863.8MHz and 864MHz

• Make use of both frequencies by using two microphones at the same time
• Can swap between headset and tie clip microphones by plugging them directly into the body pack transmitter

• The supplied microphones are cardioid in design that isolates ambient noise and is resistant to feedback

What makes this kit unique?
This wireless microphone kit is supplied with four microphones – two handheld microphones, a tie clip microphone and a headset microphone. The receiver is programmed with two unique frequencies to allow two of the included microphones to be used at the same time during any event such as a karaoke. Each microphone is powered by two AA batteries and is easy to set up.

Why would I choose a wireless microphone?
The wire-free design of the microphone allows you to go further than you would with a wired microphone and without the cable trailing along the floor. Using two microphones at the same time will give you greater freedom of movement without getting tangled in the wire. The hazard of long microphone cables will be removed when using this microphone kit to present to an audience or even sing karaoke.

Will the signals be interfered with?
This microphone kit operates on two ultra-high frequencies. This will allow two microphones to operate at the same time without interfering with each other. Household equipment such as cordless telephones, Wi-Fi routers and radio controlled toys will not interfere with these microphones as they operate on a different frequency range.

How easy is the microphone and receiver to set up?
This ProSound kit is simple to set up. Once you have removed everything from the box, choose which two microphones that you will be using. Open their battery compartments, insert two AA batteries inside and select the frequency that you wish to use – making sure that you select a different frequency for each microphone. Ensure that the receiver’s frequencies are set to the same as the microphones. Plug in the receiver into a mains power socket and then connect the 6.35mm plug to either an amplifier, a mixer or a powered speaker. Set the volume to the perfect level for each microphone and you are ready to get your event underway.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No Plastic Carry Case Supplied Apart from the fact these came in a Cardboard box and not in the Free Foam Packed Plastic Carry Case as described they do work ok, not of the highest quality but functional. They pick up the slightest touch or movement in your hand which is not great if you are using them purely for speech and not for Karaoke etc.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Truly rubbish, will destroy your recordings and cost you more money These are simply not fit for purpose. This product is truly rubbish. The lav mic radio pack will glitch, drop out and intermittently pepper your recordings with tiny unpredictable sporadic gaps. Even with new batteries, to replace the ridiculously short battery life of the included batteries, the behaviour of this product falls far short of that required to even fit the description of a usable radio mic — in effect, it is unusable rubbish. If you spend money on this product and use it for video work, your recordings will consequently require re-recording, if it is even possible to do so.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good Value Works fine in our church, but on third one, first two faulty. No problem getting exchange in store. Did come with a plastic case.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does the job! I use this kit when I entertain at children's birthday parties and it works really well. It helps my voice carry in a huge hall and over the noise of people chatting. Not sure if there's something better on the market, this is the only option that I could fine - but it definitely does the job I need it to do!

I have this item and want to use it to record for a podcast. All I have currently is this and wanted to know what else i may need and what you would recommend. i.e. mixer, amp etc. It will also be used for events and recording outdoors. (Novice)

Asked by: MrEB
Unfortunately, I do not know exactly what you will need to record podcast's. I could only advise to research online what would be needed.
