What makes this kit unique?
This wireless microphone kit is supplied with a handheld microphone that is programmed with a very high frequency of 174.5MHz. The microphone is powered from a single 9V battery that is easily replaced. The receiver is set up to be lined to this microphone, allowing for easy set up for any event such as a conference, a karaoke or as a PA microphone.

Why would I choose a wireless microphone?
The wire-free design of this microphone allows you to go further than you would with a wired microphone and without the cable trailing along the floor. This will give you greater freedom of movement without getting tangled in the wire. The hazard of a long microphone cable will be removed when using this microphone kit to present to an audience or even sing karaoke.

Will the signals be interfered with?
This microphone kit comes under the higher band of very high frequency. This means that cordless telephones, walkie-talkies, radio controlled toys and Wi-Fi routers will not interfere with your microphone. This means you can use this microphone kit without fear of picking any other signals up.

How easy is the microphone and receiver to set up?
This ProSound kit is simple to set up. Once you have removed everything from the box, unscrew the bottom of the microphone, insert a 9V PP3 battery and replace the cover. Plug the receiver into a mains power socket and connect its 6.35mm lead into a mixer, amplifier or even a powered speaker. After this, set the volume to the perfect level and you are ready for your performance, presentation or seminar.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well Good Mic but it wont work with the Prosound Mixer Amp. Works perfectly through another amp so its a bit of a mystery.

I need a new AC / DC adaptor for this equipment. Please advise how I can get one

Asked by: Anonymous
This uses a 17V DC power supply @ 3000 ma so the one below would be a suitable replacement: http://www.maplin.co.uk/p/2-power-ac-adapter-75w-15-17v-43a-includes-power-cable-r50ch

If I buy two of these will it cause any problems?

Asked by: Owen
On the assumption you wish to use them simultaneously then yes. They broadcast and receive on the exact same frequency, if you used them in close proximity to each other then they will interfere with each other.
