Rated 5 out of 5 by from This adaptor arrived very promptly, was easy to use and works just fine. It was to connect an old, easier to see (black on cream, not white on black) keyboard to a laptop for a 93-year-old neighbour. He's gamely having computer lessons from me every week.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from PS2 to USB active adaptor I bought this to enable use of older keyboard that has better shaped keys than its replacement. It works absolutely fine. We haven't tried the PS2 mouse connection so cannot comment on this. The price was also good.

I have a Logitech M-SBF96 ps/2 standard optical mouse and Microsoft RT2300 ps/2 standard uk keyboard. Will these work on windows 10 with this? If not is there an adapter they will work with?

Asked by: nccgtr2
Thanks for the answer but you are wrong they are simple basic PS/2 devices that will work with the right convertor. This (StarTech USB to PS/2 Keyboard and Mouse Adaptor USBPS2PC) has made them work. I even managed to get a DIMM keyboard via DIMM to ps/2 adapter to work. I was quite surprised at that.

I would like to be able to connect an old keyboard which has a PS2 connector to an Android tablet. Is this possible if I also connect it through a micro-usb adapter?

Is this product suitable for a Microsoft wireless natural multimedia keyboard working with Windows 10?

Asked by: geoff77
Upon further investigation it appears that this Keyboard uses a very old system for connectivity with the sensor attaching to twin ps2 connectors, sadly this would not be suitable for use with this adaptor cable.
