A versatile general purpose remote control, which can be used for controlling many different applications such as garage doors, garden lighting, gate and door control, etc. The system utilises a highly secure code-hopping protocol to ensure safe operation. Easy to install, the receiver is connected using standard screw terminals and is powered from DC 12V. The two output relays can switch up to 12A at AC 230V mains and are operated individually by pressing one or other of the keyfob buttons. Either or both of the relays can be set to toggle on/off or switch momentarily when the transmitter button is pressed. The system is supplied with one two-button keyfob transmitter and the receiver can learn up to a total of 6 keyfobs for multiple users. If a keyfob is lost or stolen, then simply reset the unit and teach it a new keyfob code. Additional two-button keyfobs are available: Order Code RN56L.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does the job well. Encloure could be better as there are no cable outlets and access to circuit board (eg for training new key fobs) requires unmounting complete unit to remove top.

Transmitter battery: 23A (supplied - replacement JG91Y)
Operating frequency: 433.92MHz
Receiver supply voltage: DC 12V
Receiver current: 6mA (standby), 66mA (switching)

This product requires 12V DC. Would the 12V DC available from a car system be satisfactory as this can reach 14.4V when being charged by its alternator?

Asked by: Boater
It states in the user manual it can handle 8.5 to 16V so there's no problem using it in a car

Learning a New Transmitter Keyfob Switch 1. Briefly short the two ‘learn’ pins on the receiver PCB, the receiver relays will click continuously. 2. Press any transmitter button once, the receiver relays will stop. 3. Press the same transmitter button again, the receiver relays will ‘buzz’ briefly. After a short time delay for reset, this transmitter will operate the system.
