• Easily connect electronics to your Raspberry Pi using this board
• Flexible so connects to both male and female headers and combinations of both
• Compatible with all 26-pin and 40-pin Raspberry Pi models including versions 1 andWhat does the RasPiO Breakout Pro add to my Raspberry Pi?
The RasPiO Breakout Pro is the perfect solution to connect electronics to your Raspberry Pi without the added worry that a wrong connection could damage your Raspberry Pi board. This Breakout Pro board uses some cleverly designed circuitry to isolate and protect your Raspberry Pi board against electrical wiring mistakes.
It even protects external components you connect to the Raspberry Pi. One example is LED lights, which would normally require a resistor to be connected in series but the Breakout Pro has a 330 Ohm resistor built-in on each port which allows the LEDs to be attached by themselves.
What can I use the RasPiO Breakout Pro board for?
Connecting wires to individual GPIO pins can be a fiddly task, especially when using a separate reference sheet and counting pins. This problem is eliminated with the RasPiO, which helps you connect to the right pins the first time around. It enables this by having each pin clearly labelled for both configurations found on the Raspberry Pi versions 1 and 2.
Should you wish to bypass the safety guards the RasPiO Breakout Pro offers for ports as a more experienced user, this is possible if you choose to use a stacking header rather than the regular standard header.
What kind of adaptability does the RasPiO Breakout Pro offer?
The RasPiO board has its components surface mounted, which take up less space than components manually soldered. Depending on the application you want connect your Raspberry Pi to, you can choose which header pins you wish to solder to the board.
This board is capable of accepting male and female headers or a mixture of both and it is easy to connect and disconnect jump wires.
