What benefits do I get from this mouse?
Razer’s Naga Expert MMO Gaming Mouse comes packed with everything you’ll need to aid you in defeating the competition, from precision and performance to profound responsiveness. This mouse is also backlit with Razer’s vibrant green LEDs.

Synapse 2.0
The mouse is designed with Razer’s Synapse 2.0 in mind. The Synapse 2.0 software allows a large range of customisable features for your mouse, from granting you easy ways of making macros and reprogramming keys, to setting up DPI.

All settings can be placed into profiles for easy switching and management, these are all stored to the cloud so you can have an infinite amount of profiles and configuration settings.

Key bind your way to victory
Do you have a commonly used combination you’re frequently pressing, or find your key bindings are getting out of hand and you’ve still got more to set up? Then look no further, with 12 dedicated thumb buttons, always have that spell or ultimate ability at the ready.

The scroll wheel can also be customised to perform different functions and has the ability to be tilt clicked left and right.

The 12 thumb buttons are mechanically switched which provides tactile feedback and are set in a concave area. Due to the unique design of the thumb buttons themselves you’ll pick it up very quickly which button is where without having to worry about a frequent glance at the mouse to make sure you’re pressing the right button.

MMO spell binding configurator
In addition to the mass amount of potential key-bindings, you can also map your keys to specific spells for use in MMO games. This is easily depicted and manageable by having spell icons visually displayed by the respective bound key.

Precision where you need it
With adjustable DPI up to 8,200, ensure your every movement is millimetre perfect and adjusted to how you play. A high DPI setting paired with low mouse sensitivity can also aid in ensuring that each of your movements are pixel perfect.

Calibrate this mouse to suit the surface you’re using. It records the colour of the surface and other physical features so if your surface isn’t perfectly flat it will compensate.

If you constantly lift while you sweep your mouse across your surface, you can enable a height cut off distance, stopping the mouse from incorrectly calculating how you’ve moved it.

Ergonomic and comfortable
Great for lots of different hand shapes and sizes, as well as users with palm grip and other grip styles. This mouse has a non-slip and anti-fingerprint matte style finish.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect mouse i bought this mouse as an upgrade to my 5 button gaming mouse i had, i recently started playing a lot of MMO games, and the 12 side buttons have been a massive help, instead of fumbling round my keyboard they have become a thumb press away, the look and feel of it are amazing, and the Synapse software makes it easier to have different button settings for the different styles of games.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely Fantastic This is the first gaming mouse I have ever bought, but not the first I've used. Upon switching to it from my current mouse (a standard 3-button USB) I immediately noticed that it fits much better in the hand, thanks to the ergonomic shape and the grip on the right hand side. At first the 12 buttons on the thumbgrid were a little confusing and got in the way, but after a couple of minutes I was using them as if they were a keyboard in themselves. The variable DPI of this mouse gives a great advantage in any game you play, and the fast response time means my reactions felt a lot faster. The green lighting adds to the aesthetic appeal greatly, and the pulsating glow of the Razer logo is a perfect finishing touch for a mouse so elegant, and yet so forcefully destructive in gaming. Buying this mouse was the best decision in my PC gaming life.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for MOBA, RPG, and FPS games! My parents bought this for my birthday, and it works so well and is a great mouse that works on my Windows 8 PC. It can also feature macro's and key bindings for quick weapon switching, spell casting and more! Great piece pf hardware and strongly advised for professional gamers. Can be hard to get used to the 12 buttons, and a bit fiddly at times when button mashing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable mouse, good performance Disclaimer: While this is marketed as a gaming mouse, I bought it primarily for general productivity/browsing/etc use (which is not to say that it won't get used for games, but I haven't had the opportunity yet). I'm also using it on a Mac, for which the functionality out of the box was better than I expected (I was wondering whether I would have to install new drivers or suchlike). It doesn't always feel quite right (for instance, since I use 'non-natural' scrolling on my mac, the tilt wheel was originally set up so that tilting right scrolled up and tilting left scrolled down, which was somewhat confusing and frustrating. However, small irritations like this can be easily and comprehensively fixed using Razer's Synapse 2.0 app, which can be easily downloaded (for free) from their website. Once installed, Synapse 2.0 allowed me to remap mouse buttons to any keyboard combinations, macros, etc I wanted. For instance, in combination with Bettertouchtool, I've set up the 12 side buttons to resize windows to different parts of the screen for general use (I may remap them for specific apps, which is another option given by Synapse 2.0). Now I can comfortable divide my screen into 4 segments with an app in each, with just a few clicks. I expect the side buttons (which by default are mapped to the number row, '1' through to '=') might also be useful for entering numbers more conveniently into a spreadsheet, etc - they offer the advantage of not having to remove one's hand from the mouse (or alternatively stretch the other hand across the number row or awkwardly reach the numpad if you have one). Obviously some people will have detachable numpads specifically for this purpose if they're regular users, and it wouldn't be a problem for left-handed mouse users, but I suspect it will still be convenient for some who fall into neither of these categories (such as myself). The tracking seems to be good in my usage so far, the mechanical switches offer clear and satisfying audible and tactile feedback, and the scrollwheel doesn't 'overshoot' like some mice I have used. The tilt aspect of the scrollwheel is also easier to activate than some mice I have used, which have required an awkward exertion of sideways pressure - in this case the resistance offered by the wheel is much lower, making the action easier and more comfortable to perform. I would also say that the ergonomic design is comfortable, especially the curve on the right-hand side of the mouse, which supports the ring finger (for a right-handed user, of course - if you are left handed there is a left-handed Naga available, but I don't know whether this most recent version is available in left-handed form or whether it's only the older version). Overall, this is a comfortable, convenient mouse with substantial and easy remapping available for use with macros, system and app functions, shortcuts, etc. Even just the option to use the number keys as numbers itself is fairly nice. In short, I'd recommend this mouse to both PC and Mac users, and not only to gamers - unlike some gaming mice, which might just end up being confusing or unergonomic for office users, I think the Naga will come in equally useful whether I'm using a spreadsheet or an RTS, a web browser or itunes.
