The RGB interconnect is designed for component video signals for the ultimate in picture quality. RGB is becoming more widely used, especially for flat-screen and plasma TVs and projectors. These leads use phono (RCA) connectors and are supplied with three gold-plated phono to BNC adapters for monitors that use the BNC connector.

I recently purchased two RGB cables , Maplin code L11 AJ, to use as component video connections. I have tried these on 2 different setups, from Sony DVD player to Samsung HD TV, and Bose home theater to Phillips HD TV, no signal in either case

Are these leads OK for connecting a disc player to a tv

Asked by: laurie
This would work for RCA connections by just using two but I would advise to use the items in the link below http://www.maplin.co.uk/p/twin-phono-male-to-twin-phono-male-3m-l06ba
