The Ridgid Micro CD-100 Combustible Gas Detector provides simple and quick readings to identify the presence of combustible gases. Detects Methane, Propane, Butane, Ethanol, Ammonia, Hydrogen and many other combustible gases. With adjustable sensitivity, even low-levels of gases can be detected. Ideal for ensuring proper gas line installations, checking for maintenance and repair needs or quickly pinpointing combustible gas leaks.

The rugged ergonomic design makes it capable of withstanding jobsite rigour. Tri-Mode Detection™ provides visual, audible or vibration alert which can be adjusted for different environments. A 16 inch flexible probe allows location and detection of leak in hard-to-reach and confined spaces.

will it detect hydrogen sulphate gas H2s from household septic tank

Will it detect sewer gases

It will depend entirely on the composition of the gas. SPECIFICATIONS Detection Range 0 to 6400 ppm (Methane). Alarm Sensitivity 40 ppm (Methane). Calibration Automatic. Alarms Visual, audible and vibration. Power Source 4 x AA batteries. Gases Detected* Methane Hydrogen Propane Ethylene Ethane Hexane Iso-Butane Benzene Iso-Butane Ethanol Acetaldehyde Toluene P-Xylene Ammonia Hydrogen Sulfide. *Common mixtures that would include or emit more than one of these gases include natural gas, paint thinners, industrial solvents, dry cleaning fluids, and gasoline.

Does it detect CNG?

Yes as long as the methane saturation is more the 40 parts per million as this is the alarms lowest sensitivity. SPECIFICATIONS Detection Range 0 to 6400 ppm (Methane).
