Is the output composite picture in colour?

yes this converts the chrominence and luminance pins to a single composite video signal

Does this product work well in both directions? I presume it correctly changes an s-video signal into a composite signal but can it also take a composite signal and convert it to an s-video signal?
Asked by: Emma
yes it can work either way

What is the output signal quality like?
Asked by: djolord
The output quality is the same as all composite signals. All this product does is combines the two signals carried by S-Video in to one composite. It will work in reverse but the output will only be composite quality, not S-Video

do you have one with 7 pin or one that changes 7 to four pin
Asked by: willis
No we do not. However, the 7-pin mini-DIN sockets found on some laptops and graphics cards will actually accept a standard 4-pin mini-DIN s-video plug, so use a normal s-video lead to connect this convertor to your laptop (e.g. L41BA)
