About this product

Overview

Product overview

• 1TB internal hard drive provides a good storage capacity for your laptop or computer
• SATA III connections can transfer up to two times faster than SATA II, with a drive spin speed of 5400 RPM
• 7mm thin design gives you a lightweight hard drive
• STBD1000200

What makes the Seagate Momentus different?
The Seagate Momentus is thinner than the average 2.5 inch laptop hard drive. This allows for a lighter weight and increased portability without compromising quality and design.

What can I store on this hard drive?
This hard drive has one terabyte (1,000 GB) of storage, so you have plenty of space to store your files. You can store up to 1,000 hours of digital video, 250 two-hour DVD films, 320,000 digital photos or 16,660 hours of digital music.

Where can I install this hard drive?
This hard drive would generally be installed in laptops, due to its small physical size. However, with the aid of the 2.5-inch to 3.5-inch HDD adapter kit, this hard drive can be installed into a desktop PC with no problems. The adapter kit can be found here.
