A flashing LED in a mounting bezel designed to be mounted in the dashboard to indicate that an alarm is installed (even if no alarm is installed!) Fitted with 1.5m lead. Operates on 12Vdc and draws 10mA. Slots into a hole with a dimaeter of 8mm.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Expensive and rubbish! The first one I got didn't flash; its replacement flashed then stayed lit, repeating this everytime it was turned on. Buy a separate flashing led and a 220 ohm/2W resistor, and make your own. It will be much cheaper and more reliable.

Bought one & light no longer flashes, but continuous red. Have cut wiring shorter, so is this the reason ? battery is also linked to a solar panel via a regulator!

If left on my bike direct to it battery how long roughly would it take to drain the battery?

Asked by: Jackie27
The item will draw 10mA per hour, unfortunately we cannot say how long it will take the drain the battery as you have not provided the total capacity of the battery in question.
