Does it incorporate a motion detector or, can it be controlled by a motion detector?

Asked by: pjbw
The camera itself has no motion detection capability. It can be attached to a Digital Video Recorder which would analyse the incoming picture for any changes and flag these as movement. It can then be instructed to record and/or send an email notification. The Camera is a fixed position camera, once mounted it does not move.

Hi I'm looking for a outdoor camera just a camera to hook straight up to a monitor I don't want a dvr I just want to be able to see I don't really need it to be recorded

Asked by: Hanz
If the TV you are going to use has a phono or RCA video input you could use a BNC to phono adapter in the link below to connect it up http://www.maplin.co.uk/p/phono-plug-to-bnc-socket-adapter-fe88v

Hi I'm looking to replace an outdoor camera for this model. It has been mentioned that the newer cameras wont always work with an old system (approx 6 years old) and wondered if the coding would be ok with my older system.

Asked by: phil
As we have no information about the connections in use on the system you have we would not be able to say.
