Product overview

• Reel Deal - Half price when bought as a full reel (See below)

An exceptionally high quality speaker connection wire. Each cable contains hundreds of extremely thin, single strands to improve electron flow at high frequencies. Each cable has a larger than normal overall diameter for absolute minimum impedance, thus ensuring good response at bass frequencies. The strands are made from 100% Oxygen Free Copper (OFC) for maximum sound purity. The extra-flexible, transparent, figure-of-8 sheathing has one side marked with ‘+’ symbols for polarity identification.

This product is sold in units of 1 metre, up to a maximum length in 1 piece of 50 metres. Orders placed for a quantity of 50 units, or multiples of 50 units will be supplied on a reel; otherwise the cable will be supplied cut to length.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent speaker cable. This is Excellent speaker cable 100% copper, very thin multi strand, and the overall cable is thick, I have Jbl speakers and the thickness of the cable just fits into the connectors, if you want very good speaker cable this is the one...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality Speaker cable I moved my speakers that where originally set up over 16 years ago and needed much longer runs to the amp. The old speaker cable was a quality product for the time but the copper strands are thicker and therefore the wire was not so flexible. But its the sound difference that has amazed me, the speakers are much more mellow consequently, the sound seems far cleaner and clear. By the meter this cable is £3.19 but buy a reel 50 meters and its incredible value at just £1.58 per meter.

What is the difference between the two Shark loudspeaker cables S10 (XS36P) and S12 (XS37S) ? On the website, both specifications seem to be the same (Strands, Conductor area, sheath size).

Hi, I note this cable is rated at 300 volts so can be used in main voltage applications. Can you advise of the current rating please. Many thanks, Trevor.

Asked by: Trevor
It's not designed to carry any significant current, a few milliamp at best. Whilst it is capable of carrying 300v is it wholly unsuitable for any kind of mains wiring use. I cannot stress strongly enough that it should not be put to any such use.
