About this product

Overview

Product overview

• Infrared transmitter diode in side looking package
• Mount at PCBs where beam break detection or data coupling is required
• 940mm peak wavelength
• Viewing angle 30°

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Neat. Bought to control a model train set in stopping & starting at the station After some research found a circuit that worked,so no complaints. Would be better if Maplin could issue typical user circuits, otherwise ideal for the job.

How can you tell the difference between this and the receiver (CH11) as they look the same. I have purchased a pair of these and would like to know which is which? Also the pins on both are the same length.

Asked by: TheBuildMaster
Cosmetically they look identical, the way to tell them, apart is to apply power to both, then look at them through a digital camera, the transmitter will emit a light visible to the camera.
