Product overview

Single outlet with a white thermoset front plate. Fits standard conduit and surface boxes (see Electrical Accessories) to BS1363. Screws supplied. No soldering required. For use with FM or UHF signals. Front 85mm square. Depth (from rear of plastic moulding) 15mm.

Can I use this plate to split an Ariel so I have one tv in the basement and one to upstairs. I cannot run any other cables

the youtube video i found for fitting this had coax with foil around the central insulation, but my aerial only has copper mesh. do i secure this to the second set of pins

Yes, different cable manufacturers use different mediums for the second contact, some use a foil type shielding, others a mesh or braid.

Is a punching tool or similar needed to connect the coax cable to this or is it just a matter of striping the coax cable to the center core and then screwing that bit of core into the back of it?
