About this product

  • Watch the same Sky™ digital channel and control your digibox from your second TV
  • Simply connects to the aerial socket
  • Multiple units can be connected so you can have Sky™ in every room with a TV

Product overview

• Watch the same Sky™ digital channel and control your digibox from your second TV• Simply connects to the aerial socket• Multiple units can be connected so you can have Sky™ in every room with a TV• Also compatible with Sky+ and Sky HD

If you have Sky™ digital TV and you have a second TV already wired up to view Sky™ (or if you are planning to wire them up), then this is for you. To enable you to control your digibox from the other room (e.g. bedroom), simply unplug the existing coax lead from the aerial socket of the bedroom TV, plug in the SLx Link then plug the coax lead back in. This will now relay the remote control’s signals down the existing coax cable to the digibox to change channels etc. *Sky is a Trademark of British Sky Broadcasting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I recently purchased this item from Maplin and it is excellent. I was concerned at first because the packaging stated that Remote Eye was not compatible with Sky+ remotes, but I found that you need to set up the Digi Box. You need to turn on the 9 volt supply in the Set Up Section to run the Remote Eye. The information is online.
