Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pixelating Samsung smart TV. Fantastic bit of kit! Our TV had been pixelating for the last 2 months especially on the independent channels. It took seconds to fit & sorted the problems out instantly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Bought this to try to see if it will stop the picture breaking up on some of our freeview channels. TV engineer quoting price of a new aerial with. 4G filter at £165 plus vat. So we had nothing to lose by trying this first. Glad we did as it has solved all interference ! Well done Maplin

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does what it said on the tin. I lost loads of freebies channels, all the best ones, no shopping channels, but didn't know why. Found out that 4G phone networks were to blame, so bought this little gadget. Lo and behold, all my channels returned. Only thing was I had to put it on the wrong way round, due to my cable fittings being reversed on the TV, but still worked fine, so I bought another for my upstairs TV, same excellent results.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from solved 4G interference on London region TV channels To my surprise my Samsung 'Smart' TV with aerial pointed to the main London region UHF transmitter has needed this filter attached in order to remove interference from 4G 800Mhz transmissions. Given that London TV channels are circa 500 - 600 Mhz I did not expect this 800Mhz filter would be appropriate, but obviously there are severe design shortcomings in Samsung 'Smart' TV signal handling circuits of recent years' manufacture that hopefully may be addressed in future years' models ?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Annoying problem easily solved My mother in law was getting very annoyed and upset about interference on her TV freeview channels. Bought this filter to try before we started to look at Aerial issues and changes. Easily connected and seems to have got rid of the interference immediately. Very happy if this continues.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from easy to fit I bought this after looking for something to help with the quality of picture on freeview it kept pixelating, after doing some research it could be because of 4G wavelengths, so thought I would try this as it couldn't do any harm, so far so good!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No more pixelating I was getting a lot of pixelating from my Talktalk Youview box and read on the internet that it was possibly due to 4G interference so I decided to buy the SLX 4G TV Filter and try it out. It worked perfectly no more picture breakup.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does Exactly What I Need I bought this product to stabilise the TV signal, I kinda overlooked the fact that it doesn't actually include its own booster signal, so I still have an unmet need that I've solved by twisting the TV (aerial) cable into the filter. In any case, the device's short cable makes it a little clumsy to fit (as it kinda hangs in the air a little, but due to the way I have it connected, it's super stable). It makes retuning my Samsung really easy to do as I can reliably enter MHz codes for the local TV towers and bypass the somewhat shoddy automatic search. There have still been a couple of twitches where it got some interference, but it no longer prevents the programme from being watched, it just appears as a little flicker. (In any case, that doesn't occur most of the time, but I guess is probably just the device being attacked by other radio signals in the neighbourhood). A slightly better conceived device would be slightly larger to let it plug more easily into the TV, but I guess that would cost more and so I'm still happy with this purchase.
