Product overview

• Designed specifically to boost weak digital terrestrial UHF TV signals• Medium gain, very low noise signal booster• Ideal to use with all types of digital set top boxes

This product is designed specifically to boost digital TV (Freeview) signals in poor coverage areas. Using a medium gain amp with low noise this unit is very effective at improving the picture stability and reliability in weak signal locations.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I bought this and to be honest didn't have very high hopes, I've just recently got a youview box and had an extra cable run down from the aerial on the roof, it picked up 107 channels, the ones it missed were Film 4 + 1 and all of the HD channels. After connecting this up and doing a re-tune it's picked up all the HD channels and some others I didn't know existed! I've gone from having 107 standard definition channels to 117 channels and all of the HD channels available on freeview. Very happy and well worth the money, a new aerial was going to cost me at least another Ј75 for the device and fitting on top of what I'd paid today to have the new lead run down from the roof. I would definitely recommend this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent device. Definitely a "hope this works" product that actually works. I've had terrible reception since the switchover and my freeview only ever scanned 79-81 channels, and some of those have become unwatchable in recent months, due to a weak signal. I could'nt take this ridiculous situation any longer,so bought this out of desperation. Brilliant...worked straight out of the box, no problems.I now get 127 channels that i can watch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A simple yet very effective device for boosting a weak digital (Freeview signal). Makes a fuzzy pixelating picture cystal clear. Great little product..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from worked a treat , end of long cable run perfect pictures and all digital stations

Rated 2 out of 5 by from This made no difference to the number of freeview channels I can get. I still cannot get ITV3 and I cannot get anything on my freeview box because the signal is too weak.

I have a pretty good signal which feeds a Humax PDR then on to the TV. When the PDR switches off I loose signal to the TV. I have tried splitting the signal at the outlet but then the signal to the PDR sometimes breaks down. Will this solve the problem ?

Asked by: Airline Pete
This unit will boost the gain of the signal before splitting it , this should help with any signal dropout you are having.

please tell me the function of the tiny round "button" on the top of the booster with the gradient above it narrowing and widening.  Which position should the "button" being aiming at the wide or narrow gradient? Thank you.

Asked by: Perplexed
This is the gain adjustment, and can be turned with a flat blade screwdriver to increase (wider gradient) or decrease (narrow gradient) the amount of gain on the signal. Too much or too little gain can significantly affect the quality of your reception.

hi, I live in a block of four flats with one aerial feeding the flats, I can get freeview but some of the main channels freeze etc, as the signal is fed from an amplifier can I add one of these in my flat to try and boost the signal?

Asked by: lunatig
You could add another booster, however any degradation on your input signal would also be amplified so it may not solve your issue. Depending on the age of the original amplifier it may be better to replace/upgrade the existing 4 way booster with a newer model.

My brand new TV pixelates a lot and sometimes I lose signal completely, It's a new flat so I have nothing to compare it to. Do you think this booster would help? I can see the reviews are from years ago. I live in Stalham, NR12 9FA. Thanks, Kate

Asked by: Kate
I am pleased to advise the product you mentioned will do exactly what you require.

My cctv monitor box will not pick up signal from my internet router as its in the opposite end of the house. I can't move the router as it has to be close to the TV, so would this Signal Booster do the job? (I need to be able to access my cctv remotely).

Asked by: Lottie
Unfortunately not as this booster would not be suitable for improving wifi connection.
