What are the advantages of having two thumb sticks?
The two thumb sticks give you the advantage of being able to turn independently of moving forwards and back while enjoying role playing games as well as being used as a way to look around the car as you play racing games.

How comfortable is it to use?
The rubberised coating allows for a comfortable grip when playing and the ergonomically positioned thumb sticks give you a tactical advantage by being within reach without having to strain your hand to reach them.

What is the switch on the rear of the gamepad for?
This switch changes the operating mode of the gamepad between XInput and DirectInput. The XInput mode allows you to use the gamepad for the majority of the latest games where as the DirectInput allows you to use the controller for all older and some newer games. You will be able to see which mode it is set in depending on whether the LED lights on the front are lit up, if they are, the controller will be in XInput mode.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A good quality controller for a remarkably low price. It has a really nice rubberised finish and the buttons are of a good quality. Although the sticks are a bit looser than those of an official Xbox controller, they are still perfectly usable. The D-pad is a stick style one, where the entire surface of the pad pivots when you push in a direction. This is not ideal for really twitchy platformers, but I am slowly getting used to it and it doesn't cause that many problems. I suspect this type of D-pad would be particularly well suited to fighting games like Street Fighter 4 since it's really easy to make smooth rolling motions. All in all, this is a surprisingly good gamepad considering that it costs significantly less than an Xbox 360 controller, has comparable build quality and is both DirectInput and Xinput compatible.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent pad! This is a great pad and feels quality don't be fooled by the price,it is well made and feels very comfy in the hands. The only minor thing is thr D-pad is a little too "loose" feeling. Recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Black Xeox Really good bit of kit, used for playing Elite Dangerous and more useful than the Black Widow joystick which was at the wrong height for my set up. Thanks to the staff at Maplin Crawley for the help swapping.
