Want to see what the planet looks like through the lens of what are widely believed to be the world’s most powerful binoculars. With an amazing maximum magnification of 160 times you can see great detail on even the most distant object. These versatile binoculars are not just for very distant objects - use the zoom function located conveniently behind the eyepiece to choose magnification between 30x and 160x giving you the best view of what you’re looking at. Developed in Japan, the binoculars use high quality Japanese eco-glass with multi-coated lenses, 70mm aperture and high quality BAK-4 prisms within the Porro design.
What are these binoculars made of?
The binoculars are of BCF one-piece construction meaning they are made using a single mound rather than multiple pieces screwed together. The way they are made means they are more rigid and help avoid collimation (alignment) issues which can happen with standard high magnification binoculars. To top it all off, the binoculars are protected by a robust rubber armour on the body which doubles as great protection and gives you a non-slip surface which you can grip even when wearing gloves. The binoculars have built-in dioptric eyepiece correction so you can adjust the eyepiece to suit your eyesight. They also feature a folding eyecup so you can watch in comfort with glasses or without. Multi-coated lenses reduce glare and help you get a bright, clear image.
What comes with the binoculars?
The Sunagor binoculars come with a protective case and a polishing cloth to keep your lenses as good as new. There is also a protective lens cover for when you’re out and about, and a neck strap to help spread the weight and so you’ll never have to worry about dropping them. For high magnifications which require maximum stability there is a tripod adapter located between the barrels. For extra peace of mind, there is also a 10 year manufacturer’s warranty (proof of purchase required).
How portable are these binoculars?
For their magnification the binoculars are below average weight at 1.4kg and are 25cm long making them easily manageable even without the help of a tripod. As handheld binoculars they have a clear advantage over comparable magnification spotting scopes or even telescopes being easier to track and change position with and if you settle in one place you can attach the binoculars to a tripod. Whether you want to watch wildlife, air shows, spot ships or even raise your binoculars to the stars you can be sure of the best possible view.
