Product overview

• Allows you to operate USA equipment in the UK• Two output sockets that will accept 2 or 3-pin USA type plugs• Ideal for Playstation 3 (PS3) and Xbox 360 US models for use in the UK • Full encapsulation of the transformer improves heat dissipation and prevents ingress of moisture• The toroidal construction benefits from smaller size and reduced weight compared to laminated transformers
• Designed and manufactured in Britain

Toroidal technology is more energy/weight efficient and cheaper to run when compared to traditional laminated transformers. Suitable products include most AC mains adapters, calculators, electric razors, radios, ghetto blasters, CD players, some handheld games consoles, air purifiers, Christmas tree lights, nebulisers, laptop and desktop computers, TVs and Hi-fis (ensure the rating is correct). Ideal for multimedia and AV equipment.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Worked for a couple of years I purchased this to run a few different appliances we brought over from the US. Used on a Kitchen Aid mixer, hair drier, and a few hand tools. Worked great for two years, then all of a sudden after use with a mixer (~500 W), it stopped. I took it to a repair shop and they said the coil was burnt. Load of mixer is well under the stated limit. It worked well for intermittent use and I never used it longer than a few minutes. If you are looking for something long-term you might want to look elsewhere as now I will not purchase this again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid piece of kit Bought it to power a Nespresso machine and a Vitamix brought from the US to the UK. Use them one at a time, all works fine. Heavy as you might expect, gentle hum when it's powered on.

will it run a Breville Mini Smart Oven; 120v~60Hz 1800W.

Asked by: BigBadBob
As long as the wattage consumption listed is the overall maximum and not just the heating element or module, then this should be suitable, however we cannot guarantee compatibility with any particular device.
