What can I play?
The Gamer uses an LED matrix display which is great for playing simple games like Snake and Breakout. The limits of the type of games you can play on the Gamer are only limited by your imagination. Through the use of the Arduino software you can create your own game or you can take an example game and modify it to do something different. There are some example games available for download including Flappy Bird, Game of Life, Noughts & Crosses and more.

What can I learn?
The Gamer kit is designed to teach not only soldering and electronics but programming as well. The Gamer uses the Arduino Uno as the computer which will teach you how to program in a language which is derived from C, one of the widest used programming languages.

Can I invent with this board?
The Gamer allows for the creation of not only games but can be used to create a piece of standalone hardware. There are pins remaining unused on the Arduino leaving space for you to add your own hardware to the Gamer.

Do i need to buy a soldering kit or does one come with the kit?

Asked by: Bradnico
No this doesn't come with a soldering kit. You would have to purchase that separately.
